Chemetal® proudly introduces the
series 200 Design Collection, which is fast becoming one the most popular lines
in the laminate industry. It is comprised of 25 decorative metallic
laminates, which are further adorned with three dimensional patterns and
designs. Furthermore, the 200 series is characterized by crisp industrial
patterns, biomorphic formations, and textured visual stimuli.
You can use the series 200 Design Collection
laminates to decorate in a variety of ways, including vertical and light-duty
horizontal applications. This collection can also be laminated with many of the
adhesives normally used with plastic laminates, such as a number of contact cements.
However, Chemetal® does not recommend the use of heat-activated adhesives
and advises that you check with your
adhesive supplier to make sure the adhesive you select is suitable for your
application.
The 200 series collection can be applied with standard woodworking
tools, but all blades must be sharp, and Chemetal recommends the use of carbide-tipped
cutters and multi-fluted router bits.
