The Composite Panel Association represents the North American composite panel and decorative surfacing industries.
In its third year, this innovative, three-day event united manufacturers, suppliers, specifiers and end-users to learn about cutting-edge composite panel design trends, materials and technology. O’Daniel, , who also is chairman of the North American Building Material Distribution Association, kicked off the symposium with a detailed presentation titled, Latest Trends in distribution of Panel Products.”
“It was a four-part presentation,” she said afterward. “It focused on the current economy, construction business cycles, the roles of distributors like Web-Don, and product trends that we will be facing.”
O’Daniel stressed the need for collaboration in order to thrive in the current and future manufacturer-distributor economies. “We need to share technologies, to share and utilize social media outlets, and communication effectively to reduce B2B inefficiencies.”
